About Whitchurch Hockey Club
Whitchurch Hockey Club, based in Cardiff is the largest field hockey club in Wales. We run six men’s sides, six ladies sides and twenty-nine youth sides youth sides (run between the men and women) – offering social, development and performance hockey, for all ages & whatever your ability.
Throughout our 72 year history Whitchurch Hockey Club has developed a culture of success. From the early days on Caedellyn Park, to St Fagans and now with our newly laid sand-dressed pitch at Whitchurch High School and purpose-built clubhouse at Whitchurch Rugby Sports & Social Club.
As Wales’ premier hockey club, Whitchurch strives to provide hockey for all levels, within a fun, sociable and inclusive environment. The club endeavours to take a professional approach in everything it does from providing structured coahing from qualified coaches, the latest sand-dressed and water-based pitches, high quality changing and post match facilities with a series of co-ordinated social events such as the Race Night, Quiz Night and end of season awards dinner. We also aim to provide a combination of enjoyable and competitive hockey for all members and a means of developing our juniors to get the most out of their hockey.
